Hub of Joys Hostel

The hosts were extremely kind, the most welcoming hostel I have ever stayed in. Great management, really helpful with trips and ideas, cooked beautiful food and just an all round amazing service! I will be visiting again!

I’ve traveled South America and now South East Asia and I would say that hub of joy is in the top 2 hostels I have EVER stayed in. True to their name, this hostel is a hub of joy. If you are looking for somewhere with good beds/ac/close to the beach/breakfast/good atmosphere but more importantly a warm welcome Thong and the gang will make you feel right at home! This is not to mention the free popcorn, coffee and deserts given throughout the day. These guys really looked out for me during Covid 19 and for that I will forever be grateful to them. I cannot reccomend this hostel enough, our stay was amazing! We ended up extending to stay a week! The staff are incredible, they are so friendly and make you feel welcome and at home. They would always of smiles on our faces everytime we saw them! The free breakfast is the best we have had at a hostel! They cook you eggs to order, free toast with condiments, fruit, veg, sausages, cakes and crossiants! We were amazed, my boyfriend who loves eating was ecstatic! They also provide free water, tea and coffee, biscuits and popcorn all day :) The beds were comfy and cosy and rooms were big enough for bags. Very clean hostel! AC worked well and wifi was strong. Location was very good, close by cheap restaurants and shops and 2 minute walk to the beach. The beach is so nice, clean sand, calm sea and not too busy. Showers powerful and hot. Staff were very helpful always and recommend good places to go, they booked our onwards travel to Koh Lipe. We didnt want to leave!!! Chilled out hostel, nice common area to relax. We will be sad to leave this place but will be sure to come back ???? if you stay in Koh Lanta and are looking for a homely, relaxed visit this is the place! …

As soon as we arrived we felt so happy and relaxed ! We were given a glass of orange juice whilst we were checking in too! The hostel is in a perfect location from the beach and they also rent out scooters and bikes so you’re able to go and explore the island! The hostel has separate bathrooms for men and woman, privacy curtains reading light and decent air con! There are many restaurants around to choose from but they also do food at the hostel which is good and cheap! The free breakfast is perfect as-well as well as free tea and coffee and snacks through the day! What made it for us was the people who work there, they are so lovely and friendly and do their best to help you out. They even took us on a little trip to a small local market and bought us some snacks! Couldn’t recommend this place enough! …

Me and my friend stayed here for 3 nights, really helpful staff good all around accommodation showers and toilets are clean free breakfast in the mornings made our stay in koh lanta much more worth while. Unfortunately my friend had a bike accident but tong the owner was so helpful and generous made it so much easier to deal with. Tong is one of a kind if you stay here you're in good hands. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again.
