A little bit difficult to drive up there, but not that impossible to reach. We went there in the afternoon, so it is quiet but is still nice with the cool breeze.

good scooter trip on quiet road

nice trip from chiang mai on a realy quiet road. Follow 1317 from Chiang mai (or use backroads like 4063 + 4041) and take well sighnposted turnoff for Kew Fin. in the rivervalley you will see a couple of touristy villages and a waterfall before it gets very steep. On top is this lovely lookout (200m on way to walk) with an almost europaen flair! Very nice.
Follow the road down the mountain and return on 1252 to make it a circle
