Reasonably priced hotel with pool

The Lamphun Will Hotel describes itself as the Solitaire of Lanna. They are not off the mark. It is a little gem of a hotel in a little town that should be better appreciated. The hotel is located about two clicks west of downtown. This is by no means a negative since it is directly across the street (Chamthewi Rd),from Wat Chamthewi, one of the oldest and best preserved in town. The hotel is spotless, has a helpful staff, nice on site swimming pool and bicycle rental were big positives. Lamphun deserves at least two days to explore. Bike around in the morning then cool off in the pool in the afternoon.
