Perfect training retreat
My husband and I have just stayed at Sabai Sabai Resort for a two week martial arts training camp. I could not have imagined a more perfect place. The owners went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after for the whole time. The accommodation is basic but clean and the surrounding landscape is lush and has stunning mountain views. I loved the pool and spent as much time in there as I could in between training. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made fantastic local and international food. I was blown away by the local coffee too, which owner Daniel Hartmann crafted into cappuccinos to perfection. The resort is easily accessible from the current international airport but feels tucked far enough away into the countryside to be a perfect, peaceful retreat. We loved it! …
Best place we stayed during 3 week trip to Asia
Sabai Sabai was the standout during our 3 week Asia trip. Daniel and Sumalee made us feel like we were family. I loved the basic accommodations. The rooms were very clean, had a bed, shower, and bathroom, everything you need, the. The rooms have no AC, so you leave the windows open all night, it was so cool listening to the birds and animals, instead of the constant hum of AC. Our room overlooked a rice paddy, this is what Thailand is supposed to look like. Daniels explained that he is set up to host Company retreats, and groups. I'm considering doing a company retreat here, it's the perfect spot. The kids loved the pool and Pump track. The bike park next door is a huge bonus. The local attractions are everything I love to do, great safe road biking, hot springs, and Golf. We went caving in the local free cave, and the Zip-lining at Flight of the Gibbons was awesome. My son likes to Down Hill mountain bike, Daniel sent us to DH King and we spent the day DH'ing on great bikes. Can't say enough good things about this place, If your planning a trip to Chiang Mai you should stay here. …
A friend and I stayed there early January and after the busy touristy areas of BKK and Pattaya we were so glad to find this oasis of tranquility and beauty as a contrast in our travels. We only stayed two nights but will definitely stay longer next time. Even though Chiang Mai is close by we didn't want to leave the area as we couldn't drag ourselves out of the pool. Actually it got cool in the hills at night that time of year so make sure you pack at least something warm. The host couldn't do enough for us and there was plenty to do on site and with a short walk into the nearby village and mountains it was a refreshing change of pace and gives you another insight to what Thailand is about. Cant wait until next trip back to our new found home!
A slice of heaven
Sabai Sabai was the perfect place to stay! It is nestled near the Mountains of Mae On just a short drive out of Chiang Mai. It has such relaxing, beautiful scenery all around the grounds. There was so much to do if you wanted to like yoga, checking out their organic farm, a pump track and a mini skate park. The food was some of the best meals I have had in Thailand so far, and the owners were such amazing hosts, that made it feel like a home the instant I got there. Absolutely recharged my batteries there, and can't wait to visit again soon
Can't say enough good things.
Sabai Sabai was easily the most relaxing, accommodating location I've ever stayed. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need while you're here and honestly make you feel like royalty. Between mountain biking, tae kwon do, pump track and tours, you'll have plenty to do and even if you choose to just relax, you'll never be disappointed here. Sumali makes some of the best thai cuisine I've ever had. A must stay, if you want to get away from the busy traffic in town and escape to peace and quiet.
