New Location and the food and atmosphere are better

The new location near the City Shrine is more relaxed and a nicer atmosphere. The food I feel is slightly better than a few years ago, I will always recommend the duck, but the Ribs are excellent also one of my favorites. It is also nice as the Chef comes over and says hello. Being in these challenging times, it is great to go somewhere that serves excellent food.

Great pasta and friendly staff!

Great pasta and friendly staff! We had the spaghetti pesto and spaghetti bolognaise, and we enjoyed it!

Lovely food

Lovely food and hosts from walking into the restaurant I was greeted by the owner and sat in a lovely room with air con The specials where explained well and nothing was to much trouble I will definitely return Thank you

Sydney Grilled... Still great

My partner and I went to Sydney Grilled again and, in my opinion, they still make the best Margarita pizza & Caesar salad in Thailand. If your in Surin, or just passing through, try it. You won't be disappointed. Just saying.

Nice surroundings / great food

Thai owner cooked in Oz / realy good farang and Thai food. Both open air and air conditioned eating areas. I like the lasagne. Super clean. Located in heart of Surin -- find on map first. On street parking. Medium priced -- good value when you want more than a simple "bowl of noodles"!

Wonderfully helpful owner

We stopped in for dinner and my partner had a severe toothache. Khun Jiab the owner noticed and we told her that we had been looking for a dentist the past day and a half with no success. She told us that she had a friend that was a dentist and set us up for an appointment the next morning. Long story short: great success at the dentist the next day. That evening we had the ribs and a pasta. Both were delicious and just the right size portions. The next day after the dentist appointment, we stopped in again and had a great lunch including the smoked salmon salad and a spinach/cheese dish. Khun Jiab makes the smoked salmon herself and it is perfect. Thank you Khun Jiab. There is not a more gracious host in all of Thailand.
