Fabulous restaurant. Excellent and friendly chef. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Thailand so far. Absolutely worth a stop.

Amazing Thai Food

The power of Google search and Tripadvisor reviews. Found this gem of a restaurant and gosh! excellent, tasty Thai food and also well presented. Chef used to worked overseas for many years as head of Thai cuisine for many top hotel chains. I recommend this to anyone who is around the Mai Khao area.

The place to be

Delicious restaurant. To try absolutely. we tasted it once and it became our only restaurant during our stay. the chef is very talented. she has been a chef in major hotel chains in many countries. very warm welcome and service. you feel at home in the restaurant.

Great service and food

Food was excellent and the service superb. Very high standards in food quality and cleanliness of the restaurant. Both things Very important for us Europeans We were treated excellently by the owner who was a very friendly and approachable lady. Me and my girlfriend will not hesitate to visit this cute restaurant with very good prices in the near future.

Good to see Yenjai Restaurant open again!

Chef Yenjai has worked miracles in kitchens all over the world. She is back in her own kitchen and restaurant now, and she is ready to provide fresh, tasty, beautiful dishes for Phuket. I wish we were there right now, but I hope others who are in the Mai Khao area will contact Yenjai Restaurant for a feast.

Fantastic local restaurant

Fantastic local restaurant that has impeccable cleanliness and the dinner was great. Everything was delicious and fresh and we enjoyed the experience. If you are staying in JW Marriott area this is a really fantastic option to get out of your hotel and enjoy some real local cuisine at a high standard. It was difficult to make our reservation by phone but we were successful in contacting them through Facebook. We took a taxi there and they drove us back to our hotel 10 mins drive away. A fantastic dinner option for local Thai food.

Hidden gem

Fantastic food for reasonable money. Owned by the retired 5-star chef Yenjai, the restaurant offers Michelin-worth food and service for very reasonable (very low for this quality) prices. It’s lack of advertisement and discreet exterior make it easily unnoticed for the crowds. We tried several dishes, everything was great and far better than anywhere. Tom kha soup was rich in flavor and eggplant with minced pork was addictive. If you want to have really tasty Thai cuisine - I strongly recommend this place

Hidden gem in Mai Khao area

Nice atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommend!! The chef adjusts dishes to your taste (e.g. we asked for chicken instead of pork in the spring rolls) and checks personally whether you like the food. Each dish was perfectly round in taste. Especially as you pay exactly the same as in the other restaurants close by it's totally worth the money. Best spring rolls we ever had in Asia!
